SDG MEDIA CAMP
In the SDG MEDIA CAMP, 25 journalists from 5 countries (Belarus, Germany, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Ukraine) research beyond their national borders on sustainability topics (Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), climate change, circular economy, biodiversity, sustainable agriculture and forestry, sustainable tourism, sustainable urban planning and construction) and support each other with insider knowledge and expert contacts. The SDG MEDIA CAMP offers them lectures and discussions with experts from all 5 countries on sustainability topics as well as practical tasks and interactive exercises. Meeting in Berlin, they will be able to visit various editorial offices, media organizations and research institutions and gather material for their journalistic work. With trainers and environmental journalists from Germany, you will exchange ideas about their topics in daily editorial meetings and conduct research together across countries. They draw up a joint research plan to apply for financial support for their project.

The program has online and offline parts.

The trainers of IDEM and Zwanzig50 support them in finding topics, expert contacts, research plan and the preparation of a grant application.

The program is funded by the German Foreign Office.
